In following with the latest guidelines released by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, this year’s Rivermark Easter Picnic is cancelled. We thank those who have supported our planning efforts to date. We will be issuing refunds in the next 1-2 weeks. Thank you for your patience and support.
In following with the latest guidelines released by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, this year’s Rivermark Easter Picnic is cancelled. Tickets: Required!
Early bird tickets - $8/child until Feb. 28
Regular tickets - $10/child until Mar. 21st
Walk on tickets - $15/child subject to availability
Details:
- 10:30 am Event opens and 11:00 am Egg Hunt starts
- Each child receives an Easter basket to use to collect the eggs and a fun favor!
- Easter basket included in the ticket price - Only this year's basket will be used on the field. Please do not bring your own baskets as they will not be allowed for the egg hunt
- Each child will find 12 eggs filled with fun toys (no candy)
- Two hunt categories: "3 and younger" & "4 and older" - We separate by age so the younger kids don't get trampled by the bigger ones! Also, we purchase egg goodies that are more appropriate for each age group. If you have two or more children, you can choose just one hunt in order to make it easier for you (particularly helpful when just one parent is attending
- Once again, we’ll be having a potluck brunch. Please bring a food or drink item to share (fruit, muffins, cookies, samosas, juice boxes, etc.) and a picnic blanket. Please cut up food ahead of time and bring your own serving utensils if needed. Plates, napkins, and forks will be available, but since cups will not be provided drinks should be brought in single-serve cartons or bottles
- The Easter Bunny will be coming! Bring your phones/cameras and have your child(ren) sit with the bunny for a cute photo!
Volunteering:
This event cannot happen without a lot of volunteer help. Please consider volunteering for stuffing eggs, helping on the day of the event, or loaning tables or tents. Volunteer opportunities are listed below and you can sign up when you buy your tickets:
- Set up on the day of the event (8:30AM - 9:30AM)
- Set up on the day of the event (9:30AM - 10:30AM)
- Registration table at the event (10:15AM)
- On the field at the event (10:30AM)
- Clean up on the day of the event (12:00PM)
- Loan a folding table or EZ-up tent
- Egg Stuffing (Saturday 3/23, 4:00PM)
